Designing towns and cities is not something that one can practice often in small countries like Cyprus. Considering another similar but smaller scale, it was possible for our office to produce some designs for recreation spaces. These projects include parks inside or outside towns, landscaping along city roads, playgrounds for small communities and many central squares in villages or even a design for the capitals central square (Eleutherias square).

Recreation is the employment of time in a non-profitable way, in many ways also a therapeutic refreshment of one's body or mind. While leisure is more likely a form of entertainment or rest, recreation is active and participatory, but in a refreshing and diverting manner.
