Health and Industrial planning
Health and Industrial projects include hospitals, clinics, large warehouses, and manufacturing facilities. The last decade our studio has undertaken many health and industrial projects. Some of them (including the New Nicosia General Hospital) have been designed in association with other architectural offices in Greece or Cyprus. Through this experience we have accommodated skills and knowledge
entire eastern Mediterranean. Industrial and health domains require special skills and specific knowledge on certain matters. Such are proper detailed drawings of patient operating theatres and proper traffic arrangements inside the hospitals. Also, proper arrangement of special machines inside industrial structures and safety regulations for critical manufactory procedures. Building a 100.000 square meters hospital can be really challenging.

Continual training and monitoring of modern technology is mandatory in all cases through the struggle to provide quality and efficient services for the critical mission of the health domain. Moreover these designs must have a large flexibility in updating and upgrading interventions to accommodate new technologies at the lowest cost and effort. All these and many more are taken into account whilst the architect still is trying to turn the building into a work of art. |
